An Old Friend.

Tonight I looked at alcohol. I watched people drink alcohol. I watched good, old, friends drink alcohol. This isn't new to me. Alcohol wormed its way into my life when I was fifteen and some points it has had its way with me. Tonight I missed alcohol. My mind recreated the warm, illusive feeling that overcame me as the hard liquor would poor down the insides of my body, almost like it was crawling down my spine. but at the end of tonight, I walked away from alcohol. Not even giving a second thought.
